"ASN-EDI is already exist"  is grammatically incorrect, are you certain that this is not a homemade error message where the programmer just selected a convenient way by choosing VL001 message since this is nothing else than a variable.


Go SE91, find the message, select it and click the Where-Used icon to see in which programs it is used, then check from there program by program if you can find this text.

Alternative you may want to debug the execution to see when and where this error is processed.

Stock Determination Not Batch managed items

Hello guru,

 

i'm facing a problem during stock determination for not batch managed items. These items are managed as pick items for material staging, so we use to perform a stock determination during Transfer Order (TO) creation, with priority to consignment stock (K). The problem in this case is that during consumption in MIGO (261), i cannot see the effect of stock determination performed in WM (i.e. consignment stock), so when i try to re-process stock determination at MIGO stage (without storage location reference) it could be happen a misalignment in WM; especially when during a stock determination in WM a free stock is selected, because the storage location, while at MIGO stage consignment stock is selected instead (because there is no reference of storage location).

 

Is there any possibility to perform stock determination at MIGO stage with storage location reference?

HI,

 

If your business does not agree with your thought. you take advise from sap they will help you out, may be they agree with you to remove from lqua. it happened with me so sap helped me recently.

Hi Experts,

 

 

I have activated SUM for my FG storage Type.

 

 

i have created & confirmed  Transfer Order for Outbound delivery.

 

 

Due to some issue i want to reverse the stock back to WM in same bin .

 

 

Now i am getting beloW error while doing LT0G.

 

 

" Use of old storage unit numbers not allowed "

 

 

I am sure you might  have come across this issue.

 

 

Please give me some solution to fix it.

check your setting in

 

SPRO----LE---WM---Master data ---Number Range

 

Number range assignment (NA value should be 3 to use the previous number)

Thanks for the information. TO is split successfully.

 

For the 2nd question: I want to create TR from inbound delivery before GR. Then TR to TO and confirming TO, GR will happen. Is it possible?

Control of Movement type 551

Hello Expert,

 

We have situation in our plant our users are overusing 551/ 552 movement types to adjust the stock in plant to avoid cycle counts.

 

We have define tolerance limits for cycle counts posting to overcome this limitation user use 551 & 552.

 

Is it possible to define tolerance value limit for 551 posting?

 

How can we control 551 with larger adjustment?

 

Can someone please help us.

Few points from your threads and based on which it looks like to me that based on certain specific business requirement your system is design/ configured that way.(Not a standard SAP behavior)

 

 

if I see the movement of SU C7CUL1275407 then it first comes to storage type 902 to 011 and bin F44-01-00 and then the same SU is getting moved within storage type 011 from bin F44-01-00 to another bin F44-02-00. so it looks to me that you have some specific business requirement for which system is designed that way (it looks more towards id point / pick point setting but for that also your storage type should be different hence I am sure that there is a custom code in user exit)

 

also for the inbound,  movement type should be 101 but I can see in the screen shared by you it is 999

 

I will suggest check whether any user exit is active as this is not standard SAP behavior

You are not supposed to update tables.

If such is considered, then the hurdles seem to be pretty low where you work. Never thought that exact such activities are creating the problems that you have?

You haven't read the note because you have no user at the SAP marketplace, right?

Is it possible to split printing of a pick list by TO item.

Hi,

 

Just wondering if it is possible to split the printing of a pick list by TO item.  It is possible to split by volume but if there are mulitple pallets of the same material/batch, they will still print on the same pick list.
